The men’s U23 football team of Cambodia bagged three points after beating U23 Laos 4-1 in their face-off on May 9 at Thien Truong Stadium, the northern province of Nam Dinh, within the framework of the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31). Cambodia (in blue) scored two goals in the first half of the match and raised to 3-nil in the 18th minute of the second one. Laos (in red) made a consolation goal in the 67th minute, but Cambodia finished their victory with the fourth goal scored by striker Im Somoun (18) four minutes later.
