SEA Games 31: Vietnam won a second gold medal in Karate

The first day of Karate competitions took place in Ninh Binh Gymnasium on May 18 with six different events, namely: men’s and women’s individual kata, women’s kumite for under 55kg and 61kg classes, and men’s kumite for 60kg and 67kg classes. Vietnam team earned two gold medals with athlete Nguyen Thi Phuong’s victory in women’s individual Kata and athlete Nguyen Thi Ngoan’s victory in women’s kumite 61kg class. VNA Photo
